Automatic Laser Cutting Machine: Complete Ventilation Guide for a Pleasant Working Environment!
When selling laser cutting machines for fabric cutting, we occasionally receive questions about "ventilation" from customers. Here, we will provide you with detailed information about everything related to ventilation.
Why is ventilation important?
Laser cutting uses a high-temperature laser beam to cut fabric. During this process, smoke, fine dust, and harmful gases can be generated depending on the type of fabric. These substances can pollute the working environment and shorten the lifespan of the machine. Therefore, an efficient ventilation system is essential.
How does our laser cutting machine's ventilation system work?
* Meshed Work Table: Our laser cutting machine table is made of meshed metal with numerous holes. These holes effectively absorb smoke and fine dust generated during laser cutting.

* External Tube Connection: The absorbed smoke and fine dust are discharged through an external tube included with the machine. The provided tube offers sufficient ventilation for general usage environments.

* Duct Connection (Optional): For high-volume usage or when stronger ventilation is required, you can connect a duct to the tube and discharge it directly outside through windows, roofs, or walls. Duct installation is optional and can be easily handled by a nearby duct installation expert or handyman.
Advantages of Laser Cutting Machines Compared to Traditional Blade Cutting Machines
* Blade Cutting Machine:
* Frequent blade replacement due to wear.
* Dust generation depending on the fabric type.
* Difficulty in precise cutting.
* Laser Cutting Machine:
* Non-contact method eliminates the need for blade replacement.
* Smoke and fine dust generation (proper ventilation system is essential).
* Precise and clean cutting.
* Ability to cut various complex designs.
Laser cutting machines offer superior precision and efficiency compared to traditional blade cutting machines, but building a ventilation system is essential.
Building a ventilation system for a pleasant and safe working environment is necessary, and it is not a difficult process.
The video below shows how the ventilation system was set up at an actual customer site. We appreciate the cooperation of our customer.
